Backward Causality and the Current Year

One of the best things about getting older is that the “amusement quotient” increases, almost geometrically.

So now the “1900s” is so  long ago that it’s not really relevant to 2017, which presumably sprang sui generis from the Womyn’s Studies department of a $50,000 a year liberal arts college.

But bashing such tripe is far too easy for the heavy weapons in my arsenal. Here is another tweet, worth expansion:

I didn’t really grok what “backward causality” implied until I read Frank Tipler. You’re probably tired of hearing the phrase “You’ll never look at the world the same way again” but after you read The Physics of Immortality, well…you may have heard about how the “laws of physics” seem to work “equally well in both directions of time” or some such simplification on a PBS science program. It’s far stranger than that to people still stuck in the Cause and Effect of non-Dark Enlightenment thinking.

The way the Universe ends determines the possibilities of now. The discerning reader will have noted that in the last few years many of the “leading” physicists have tried to convince the public that the because of dark matter and the accelerating expansion of the Universe blah-blah-blah it’s going to be Heat Death in a few trillion trillion years, no Big Crunch no glorious fireworks. Whereas Frank Tipler has written than human intelligence and existentially unlimited computing power will recreate all consciousness and hold off the Big Chill for an indefinitely long time.

Using the theory of backward causality, a Dead Cold end of the universe would have produced a Hillary Clinton victory in the 2016 US presidential election. A Hot Living universe won out. Scientific Hermeticism beats a low pair every time. The correspondences are perfect; As above, so below.

Your own personal future is influencing your actions of this very moment. If they be Right Actions, then you know it. Think about it, then take them.

  1. I do trust all the concepts you have presented to your post. They’re very convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for novices. May just you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
